The Concept
What is a "Perfect Place"
Put simply, a perfect place is a five out of five. That means the hotel has emerged as the best after extensive scrutiny of facilities, value, customer feedback, location, and everything else we look at. A perfect place is the best possible stay, in easy reach of your chosen location.
We're Always Up To Date
Our recommendations change often. If a hotel has recently made improvements, they're more likely to make the grade, while those who let standards slip even slightly, might fall off the listings. Our technology and feedback make sure our recommendations are bang up to date and listings can and do change often.
We're Fiercely Independent
We will never give a hotel preferential placements or recommendations for a premium. Every hotel is treated in the same way and subject to the same scrutiny. We do make money when you follow links to book a hotel you find on our website, or if you click on any of the adverts on the site and sign up for goods and services, but we will not enter commercial agreements that create a conflict of interest... ever.
How We Rate Our Places
We're not just looking for super luxury (although it does help). What we're really after is all-around excellence: convenient locations with fantastic service, offering fair value for the service they provide. We're also looking for exceptional user reviews. We check every hotel we list at least once a month to ensure our recommendations are up to the minute and as accurate as possible. Of the hotels we research and monitor, only around 6% of places meet our standard to be listed, and less than 0.2% are given the status of a Perfect Place.
